ISSUE SUMMARY: Alternative to ACL?

What I understood is , that 4.0.7 is not working based on an ACL, which would realy make sense to delegate admin tasks. An alternative could be to edit the file www.xyz.de/administrator/components/com_...munity/view.html.php . This works. where I have to place it to use with different admin templates? Please advise

jomsocial until now still not support joomla ACL yet. I suggest you to put user voice at here:

JomSocial currently doesn't support ACL. This feature wil be available in JomSocial 4.3:

Implementing ACL-like features on this stage will require core files hacks.

Core hacks are not recommended nor supported as they may not working with future JomSocial releases and/or cause issues that will be not supported. Users with core files hack refuse to upgrade their installation to keep those hacks and they are stuck with outdated and unsupported versions.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
