JomSocial Active Socialize Expired

My site is undergoing an update, the live site is J1.5 Rainbowrv.com my update site is rainbowrv.org/joomla3/ . I did the update as outlined but have several issues. One is, that clicking around in the members area many pages revert back to the activities stream. In example (Chapters is the term for groups) Mouse-over COMMUNITY >click AREA CHAPTERS >click ALL GROUPS the url at the bottom says rainbowrv.org/joomla3/index.php/componen...y//display?itemid=85 but the result is rainbowrv.org/joomla3/index.php/component/community/ and it looks like the jomsocial front page. No front end error message. a front end screen name and password is Judy judy or Flynn flynn
Not able to upload photos either from the path mouse over COMMUNITY > click on UPLOAD PHOTOS the photo upload just spins and spins but it is easy to upload from the activity's updater "Say whats on your mind"
*** I also note that the menu in the backend called Jomsocial tool bar has most everything saying com ponent does not exist? is this toolbar used?
Thank you in advance Jomsocial team and helpful contributes

Hi, Gregory.

First try to fix menu items issue:

When you upgrading JomSocial menu items in JomSocial toolbar lost "connection" with component. Joomla! mark them as disabled and with notice: "Component 'com_community' does not exist". In order to fix it please follow this instruction:

- click on menu item in JomSocial menu in order to edit it
- when in edit mode don't change anything
- save
- menu item should be fixed
- do it for EVERY JomSocial related menu items (if needed) in ALL menus

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Gregory.

You did it ONLY for JomSocial toolbar. But you have a lot of other menus. Please, repeat it for ALL other JomSocial related menu items in ALL other menus.

By the way you could fix that way also other menu items related to e.g jReviews and Analitics.

Make sure that you fixed ALL menu items.

Michal, Your reply completely corrected the issue. I may add that the menu items in menu's that were not enabled needed to be re-saved. Your crew is the best. Greg
