Some configuration settings wont save

Some areas of the JomSocial configuration menus will not accept any changes. If I make a change and click save I get redirected to the Joomla Control Panel page. No error is displayed. If I go back to the config page, the setting I changed is not changed.
The pages that will not accept changes, will not allow me to change any item on that page.
I went though each menu and made a list of the pages that will not accept changes:

Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Site
Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Privacy

So far these are the only two sections that I can find that seem to not accept changes, and redirect to the Control Panel Info page after clicking save.

I figured it out.. (unless you are working on this at the same time as me)...

It seems to be be my php.ini. I fixed all the warnings in Extension Manager -> Warnings
After that, all these menu save problems went away.

I'm sorry but I can't replicate your issue. Logged in to your site backend and in Configuration -> Site I've changed:

- Frontpage Title from "VailAZ.com" to "VailAZ.com - xxx"
- Copyright Text from blank to "VailAZ.com"

In Configuration -> Privacy I've changed;

- Default User Privacy all set to "Members"
- Show Administrators in Member's Lists to NO

And as you can see all changes ware saved and I had no issues or redirections.

I use Chrome 36.0.1985.125 Ubuntu 14.04 (283153)


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
