Problems after upgrading to ver. 3.2.1.5

Hi.
I just upgraded to ver. 3.2.1.5, but after installation my site went down, and the only thing i could see on my frontage was an event without any CSS (everything else was gone).
So I disabled the the "Event module", and then everything is ok (almost). When i enable the module - the site i corrupted again (now it is published)
Then i try to switch of the event in the configuration - but that does not work. So I try the troubleshooting feature - but it only gives me this "DirectoryIterator::__construct(/xxxxxx/xxxxx/public_html/sym/root/etc/mail/spamassassin/sa-update-keys) [directoryiterator.--construct]: failed to open dir: Permission denied"

I am really lost - hope you can help

Hi, Tom.

You use very old event module "Upcoming Events" that was for version JomSocial 2.6.2 (2011!). When it's enabled crash down your site. Just delete it and use Community - Events Module instead.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi
Thanks - now I changed to a newer module, and it works now. But now there is a new issue. The Event Avatar does not show on frontpage (in the module), but i shows in the Event Page. Also now i can not edit the event after creating it?
You can try to se my homepage, and click the event - also the Eventpage should the event details first - not after a click on second tab?

Hi, Tom.

You can edit event after it's created - but your template cause this issue. When you click on Options in Event option menu is not loaded. Change your template to default Joomla! one e.g Atomic and menu is there prntscr.com/4wz4fh . Please, contact with template developer to fix this issue.

Yes, in new module event avatars are not shown... but I created a small hack that allows you to display event avatars :)

Hi - Super Thanks Michal
Great with the hack - but do i have to change the whole layout of my website to make this work? Everything else works perfect?
Do you have an alternative to an eventscalender for Jomsocila/Joomla?

Hi, Tom.

No, just edit file mentioned in hack description.
As for now events calendar is displayed only in events, and there is no alternative for it.
