I´m trying to make a demo website just like yours (only with the addition of facebook likes), when I bought the jomsocial with the socialize template I assumed that it came with a quickstart package like most of the paid templates that I have seen, but to my surprise it didn't...

therefore, I ask from you guys the following questions:
1.- is there any quickstart package for the socialize template (maybe beta ?)
2.- is there any quickstart package like your demo site ? (or maybe I can connect to a FTP to download it ??)
3.- Do you have any how-to wiki with step by step documentation on how to get from your packages to your demo site ?
4.- If 1 and 2 and 3 are not an option, could we schedule a call/webex to talk to a specialist for him to help me with the steps to get from scratch to your demo ?
5.- any recomendation on how to get my facebook likes ? for what I´ve been investigating the FBConnect is not for that, but for the registration/login process...

4. No we dont have it, I recommened you to read our wiki page documentation.jomsocial.com/ and socialize.jomsocial.com/ read "Module Variation" and "Module Positions"

I gave you 4 logical alternatives to get your help to create my social site like your demo site, and you basically answered me that the best support that you can provide is to refer me to generic documentation that does not include the steps that I need ?

I bought your extension based on the assumption that I was going to get a something like your demo site. If I dont get it, and I dont get the support from your team, I will be forced to ask for a refund and provide a bad review on JED for your misleading demo site and lack of support.

Please go the extra mile to help me, I like your extension, and even when it´s clear to me my alternative, I´d rather stay with jomsocial. (btw CB provides a quickstart package, so it´s something that you should really consider)

I am sorry for the confusion and the answer you were given is confusing. At the moment we don't have a quickstart for the socialize package but it is something we will be doing in the future.

I would be happy to make your site look exactly like the socialize demo site and and will arrange for this to happen. Could you please confirm that we can proceed with this on the test development site you have listed in this post. Once we receive conformation i will get the next support staff member on shift to do it for you.

It is also a good idea to create a backup of the site as well and i would recommend you install www.akeebabackup.com/download/akeeba-backup/4-0-5.html which is a free product and will ensure that you will have a good backup of your site

Michal, Thanks !, we are getting closer, but I still see some differences (uploading pictures) .

Note: I still have one more stakeholder to convince therefore I need the site as alive like your demo as possible, even having the toolbar that resizes the page to show the responsiveness of the template is useful to me, if possible, I´d like to have that too (if that is a separate component I understand that you don't provide it, just refer me to the developer)

BTW: if it´s easier to you, it´s fine by me if you overwrite my site and data with your demo site, as I don't have much content to miss there... (my idea is to add all my content/tweaks after it looks like your demo)

The site demo.jomsocial.com is not the socialize template it is a 3rd party template from here yootheme.com/demo/joomla/nano3

If you want it to look like socialize.jomsocial.com then that is the socialize template which you are using. when using the socialize template you cannot display the toolbar (image demosite1.gif)

If you want it to look like this socialize.jomsocial.com then are you able to give us Database access? i can then import the socialize demo database into your site and ftp the file set into the directory. You will then have an exact copy and i think it will save a lot of going back and forth with replies

Could you please upload the site files and a .sql file so that I can import it to DB ?
I´m having trouble enabling remote access to DB.

I still think that you should have a quickstart package ready without the garbage and with some nice sample data, but this is good enough please let me know when you make it.
