Can´t enter configuration in back end!

Hi,
when i enter the configuration area in back end i get this error:
"0 String could not be parsed as XML"

im using version 3.2.1.3

Hi Alexander,

please disable open_basedir from php settings. Jomsocial need to read external XML files for version checking.
if you don't know how to do it. please ask ther server support.

i get answer from my hoster now. He will not do individual settings :(

What else can we do now to bring backend configurations running??

Hi Alexander,

maybe you can find it the settings for disable open_basedir at hosting cpanel.

if search the similar issue:
www.jomsocial.com/forum/search?q=0%20Str...%20XML&childforums=1

the problem because the server prevent to read external source. by using open basedir, server access will have limitation.

there are no settings in hosting panel to change it!! :(

very difficult if hosting provider don't want give a hand at all.
can you ask the hosting support again about any clue or tutorial for php configurations setting for they server standard? your hosting must have this, because not all site can running with open basedir enabled.
