Urgent problem with PM after upgrade to 3.2.1.2

Hi,

I have a number of problems after upgrading today.

The upgrade went very nice with Ijoomla Installer, just love it, Thanks!

Now I’m running on

Joomla 3.3.3
Jomsocial 3.2.1.2
Socialize 1.2.8
PHP 5.4.30 (if I go higher the site goes blank in Safari?)

At the attached photo you see that:





1, PM is not working, with or without photos and it's urgent.
2, Logo is smaller and it’s maybe ok if the hight of the top border is smaller?
3, Topborder, where can I male it smaller or how to make logo as before?

Also I think the site is slower than before?

Some weeks ore month ago I hade some help but the Average Age 0 is still not working.

Have not had chans to check everything yet but the PM is urgent!

Please help me.

1. Messaging feature works: prntscr.com/482yf1 but it displays some code. So I assign developer to this thread.

2-3. Add this code to custom.css (yu can create it if you don't have it in socialize/css):

.logo-image img {
width: auto !important;
}

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Jonas,

About message content, that because the override template at /templates/socialize/html/com_community/inbox.message.php not up to date.
I changed the code

From
<?php echo htmlspecialchars_decode($msg->body); ?>

To
<?php echo htmlspecialchars_decode($content); ?>

If no any purpose you can delete override file /templates/socialize/html/com_community/inbox.message.php
The default template (up to date) /components/com_community/templates/default/inbox.message.php

you can compare the changes from default template.

Millons of thanks for your help.
I have not yet deleted anything and I'm not 100% with you in this.

Anyway now we can send PM again but still we can't send any photos.

Photos is working in comments but not in PM.

What to do?

Going back to my number 3 question, can you point out more exactly where I make the red bar smaller.
Specially in mobil divice it's to high.

Don't know if I can bring it up here but now the 4 smal notification icons is not showing in phones or tablet standing.

In my message I asked about "Average Age 0" but you did't comment that.

please delete:
/templates/socialize/html/com_community/inbox.message.php

because that override not uptodate.

Now we can anser with a photo but still not start up.
There is no camera icon.
