JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

hi, there is a way to send a pm welcome message to the users?

Hi, Alfredo.

There is no such a feature... but you may set Joomla! to send passwords to users then, using language override feature in Joomla!, change text in this email to a kind of welcome message.

But this will send an email and not PM.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Alfredo.

You mean, first login string?
You may try, It should not affect JomSocial... this will be just an additional parameter in URL...

Hi, Alfredo.

There is no such as "first login" in Joomla or JomSocial out-of-the-box. You need to have or create a plugin that detects such behavior and display additional parameters in URL.

So I can't point you to any place as it doesn't exist... your concern is to create it. probably as a plugin.

Something similar to this: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-...login-redirect/13463
