Fatal error - when creating a new user

Hi

I am getting this fatal error when creating a new user. After filling the user name and password and then click Next- I get the following message

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substr() in /home/alamtariq71/public_html/www.addressbangladesh.com/components/com_community/libraries/fields/date.php on line 182 .

Hi Tariq,
It seems your php does not have mbstring enabled.
Can you contact the hosting server by asking help to enable "mbstring"?
BTW, as i am seeing you are using old version if jomsocial and I was going to upgrade at the test site but failed.
It says,

Error
There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Can you correct this issue too?
