Does a registered user have to be a member of a (public) group to post in the group?
We would like the Share Box to appear in the groups even if the user hasn't joined yet. Is it possible?

There is a feature in Configuration -> Site under "Walls" pane.
The option is "Only Members can Write in Groups".
But even if I choose Yes or No the Share Box doesn't appear when registered users are logged in.
It only appears for administrators, but we want the registered users to be able to post in the groups without having to be a member of the group necessarily.
The Default User Privacy is set to Public. Could it have anything to do with the Permission Settings in Global Configuration?

This problem is the number one issue we have right now, because we have several groups and don't want to pressure people joining any particular group, even if they eventually might join one or more groups :)

A user can write in a group without joining the group, but they can't share photos and videos.
How can I make it possible for all users to have the same options that a member has in sharing photos and videos, please?

Please, make sure that option for sharing photos and videos is enabled for that group.

Hi again. The option for sharing photos and videos is enabled for all the groups. But only members of the group get the oppurtunity to post photos and videos.
