We don't have email notifications turned on for New Group streams, but they are triggering emails. Please can you have a look?

Hi Susan,

every group have they own notification settings. please edit the group, and you can see notification settings.
and every users have they own notification settings too, goto profile > preferences > Emails and Notifications

make sure the settings are correct.
