I have my page created in 2 languages, Spanish and Basque and I can not run events in 2 different languages.
I have created two categories of events, one to display in Basque and another to display in Spanish but, I can not assign those categories in the corresponding menus, both are shown and depends on which language you navigate, they give error.
Now I have it provisionally showing in all languages.
Can you explain how I can use events in 2 different languages?
Thank you .
P.S. The map of google is not shown either.

HI, Aitor.

Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sorry but you just can't separate multilanguage elements in JomSocial just like articles in Joomla!.
Joomla! doesn't allow to do that. Also implementing that feature will extremely complicate data structure in JomSocial.

As for Google maps, please, read this: www.jomsocial.com/forum/modules-plugins-...urce?start=14#169306

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi, Aitor.

You may use different languages but they won't show separately after you switch language in Joomla!
It works the same way as on FB.

Please, send me PM with:

1. Your site backend URL
2. Super User credentials
3. Link to current forum thread (so I'll know to what your PM apply to).

HI, Aitor.

Hmm, it seems that maps doesn't work only in frontend... in backend they are fine (displayed in dashboard).
I assign developer to investigate this further.
He'll contact you at Monday.

OK done, already fixed this issue, this issue caused by cURL, which its broken when check the address validation

I fixed by modified this file components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/events/single.php, find this code :

<?php //if ( CMapping::validateAddress($event->location) ) { ?>
                    <?php if ( 11==11 ) { ?>

thank you!

Thank you very much for solving it so quickly.

Now it would be wonderful if the categories of events could be shown separately by menus. So we could at least separate them by language. :-)

Maybe you can keep it in mind for future updates.

Thank you very much

Hello. Hope you're have a good day.

Why a post about event problem is in Categories and Languages, I'm confuse. I just have a problem to solve with Map location in Event. It's so difficult to find stuff with your search engin that a use Google to find this tread. That why I'm here. The code could be the solution but I really don't know where in the code it goes...
