We use the same, Chrome.
However, looking into the version of Chrome, we found that with the older version (37.0.2062.124 m) , it displays correctly,
on the other hand, with the latest version (38.0.2125.104), it does not.
The issue seems to come from the difference in interpreting and doing with padded spaces between the older and the latest Chrome.
Could you kindly make JomSocial optimized to the latest Chrome?
We tested your site with Chrome 36.0.1985.125 and it's displayed well. We can't replicate your issue.
Could you test it on the same version of Chrome you use but on different machine? With OS newer than WinNT.
