The issue was resolved this morning, all downloads were finally available.
Having done development and support for 20+ odd years i understand very well that things dont always work as they should. That was not the source of my irritation but rather the fact that it wasnt addressed and acknowledged while others with lesser issues were. When there are problems of that nature, tell the customer that there is a problem and you are working to resolve it FOR THEM and most folks will grumble perhaps but most of us get it and wont distract you when you're working at a resolution. Simple, not fun maybe, but simple and far less contentious.
