URL Username/Nickname for Jomsocial

BE LIKE MYSPACE AND FACEBOOK - Allow users to have their own Personal URL to their profile now!
This Component/Application will allow users to enter their own nickname/url.
Allowing users to have a Link to their profile in a url like this:
www.yoursite.com/tom
www.yoursite.com/hotmomma
We have ensured that this fits into jomsocial, by placing it inside the Application menu.
Not only will this be a great feature for your community, making it more unique. But it will give users a easy URL they can remember.
Causing them to Link to their profile page more often, Providing your site with more visitors!
The backend features include an area where you can enter words which you don't want users to have. Such as swear words, or words which menu items are using. (more info in document)

This will give you instructions on how to set this up correctly if you are using a 3rd party SEF or have rewrite turned off in your .htaccess

Ok this application is great but there is things i noticed you must do before it works, you must enable mod rewrite in you joomla and then u must go to ur system plug-ins and select the page load for myurl. but one thing i dont know fi error or how its supposed to function, when your viewing some ones profile it shows your url not the users, so im not sure if thats bug or not but please developer make it were you can see that users url link and not see your own on some one else link.

The issues I am having may be caused by the fact I am using a later version of Jomsocial. I'm not sure. Anyway, the shortcut/vanity URLs work but do not assume that links within your site are updated.
When enabling the JSUsernames plugins only modules that are set to display on all pages show up any longer. If a module is set to a single (or various) pages it will not display on any pages until JSUsernames is disabled.
Support request on the issue remains unanswered so far after a few days.
