This plugin is a free part of the Geocode Factory for Jomsocial Component.

The Geocode Factory JS plugin allows you to display a map in a user tab, and allows the user to geocode (get the geo coordinates) hes position from the entered address (city, street, country, zipcode) from the profil.

Features are:
- display a compatibility test in the admin user profiles (to check if the server accept the geocode factory).
- display a map on the user profile, with a marker at the user address
- all maps are full customisable (size, controls, display, ...)
- The coordinates are find during the profile creation, profile edition and details edition (since 1.6).

We have a good experience with the Geocode Factory Component for CB (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension-specific/community-builder-extensions/community-builder-management/9737).

FAQ:
- It's possible to geocode the user, but not with a complete precision? Yes, a way is to set only the country, city, and zip code informations into the parameters. In this case the user position is only positioned on the city, and not on the street.

- I have many existing profiles, it's possible to geocode all profiles at once? Not with the plugin, but with the geocode factory component.

- It's a way to display all my profiles (by groups or with a filter) on a single map? Not with the plugin, but with the geocode factory component.
