A small plugin which displays your friends' birthdays for a given period. It's pretty much simple and absolutely free.
Features:
- customize date format;
- limit birthdays count;
- set birthdays display period;
- display age, birth date and online status;
- Russian and English language files included.

It installed okay. But I'm seeing code in the front end where I should see 'headings'. Example: PLG_BIRTHDAYS_AGE: 40
It also shows people who have not confirmed they are my friend, which ain't good.
Finally, I have yet to find a plugin that allows the Super Admin to turn off "age". Most people are happy to have their birthday on the website for all to see. Most would also be much happier not to see their age plastered all over a website for the world to see.
If the above bugs and age issue can be fixed, this plugin is a winner.

I've changed it a bit, but guess it only works in Joomla 1.6+ now. You may try reinstall it, if you wish.

i've installed it and enabled but does not show correct bdate the date showing is only 01.01.1970 but the date in the profile is correct (and is not that date!)

Its a great plugin..the only thing that's off is it says PLG_BIRTHDAYS_TOTAL: 1
and when hovered it continually says PLG_BIRTHDAYS on the persons upcoming birthday..

Language issue was fixed and you may try to reinstall it. May only work in Joomla 1.6+ tho.

it shows the wrong people on the frontend and and the labels show the whole code. ex. PLG_BIRTHDAYS_AGE

Try new version - should work. Note tho, it may only work in Joomla 1.6+ for now.

Language file don't work. I see "PLG_BIRTHDAYS_TOTAL". But I must see "Всего дней рождения" (in russian). Etc.
I copied the language file manually in the /languages/ru-RU, but it did not help.
