I am a firm believer in 'you get what you pay for'. And my experience with free products is that the applications suck, the updates are few and far between, and you are left holding the bag when the product doesn't work as described. I do realize that you can get VIP subscriber support, but I would rather just pay up front for a better developed product that doesn't require much support. I have been a firm supporter of JomSocial since the first version, and I love the product. After using it for a year, hopelessly loosing faith in the product. We have 17K registered members on our site, but no one is talking because it is not intuitive. In your case, you will be able to receive support for all your 5 domains. Official support will be provided for VIP users, on one license per domain basis. VIP users may install in numerous domains, but support is only given for one specific domain. Regular users will not receive any support, and will use a free version of flowplayer (checkout my other replies below) which has an overlay.
