Just testing to see #hashtags get highlighted when entering in the status textarea. I guess they don't though they do while you are writing a comment.

Yea, was hard to explain on my phone. Not necessarily a bug, just wanted the main textarea to preform like the comment textarea eventually and wanted to test it on your instance of jomsocial to doublecheck

And how #hashtags work?

Just the way you have used them, you can then click on a #hashtag and see how many times in have written #ilovejomsocial4 it a good filter for keywords
