Does anyone know how by default or config to remove the text next to the smileys. The texts kind of take away the fun of using them.

Gunnar An example is in attached screen shot. "schaut TV" is de-DE for "watching TV". It of-course comes from the German translation, but should not be there in the first place.

Gunnar I understand your idea, but it is not a clean solution. There are about 30 language constants that need changing. There must be a different way. The JS Demo, it is in English, does not have this strange behaviour. Now that I think of it, it could be that one of my extensions is creating this. I will check. 7 years ago

Gunnar No, it was not in the extension I was thinking of. Still confused. This is something related to my site because it is not in the JS Demo. I checked the language constant for one smiley and it exists in both EN an DE, I do not know in which language files though, there are too many of them. 7 years ago

I find it difficult to find an Email Joomla Extension to edit the look, feel and texts of emails from JS. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Gunnar Well, the language strings have to be done in either case and I have done those already. I now want my emails to look like they come from my website with logo, text style, colour scheeme and everything. Professional you know I was advised to use AcyMail which I am currently trying out. MESSAGE Login Successful
This is probably not a JS issue, but a standard joomla one, so I post it here hoping someone knows. There are a large numbers of posts on this subject in various forums and lots of people look for a solution, but there are no answers. Does anyone here know how to turn off the entire green box "Message Login successful.", but without at the same time turning off any other... Show more

Gunnar Wow, now that was a good lesson I have done quite a bit of css styling (and created and cleaned up lots of mistakes while doing it) and am familiar with that and yes, I am using Notepad++. I am also familiar with the lanugage files, but did not know one could do this kind of reverse engineering. Gunnar Hi Sinisa, I cannot read file content with FileZilla and after copying over the lang files to my hard drive and making the indexing options and a search, still got no result. I guess I had a problem with windows search there. So I could not follow your approach above. In either case, I changed the file as you suggested, but the login message is still there :-( 7 years ago

Has anyone had a problem with Akeeba backup recovery on their JS site? In my backup recovery Akeeba Kickstart told me that all was ok with the backup, but that there were some problems with the final step "cleanup". After the backup recovery I have some wheird things on my site.

Does anyone in the community know to which directory and file/files "Template => Socialize => Custome Code" writes to? I am putting styling in there and need to find the files.

I prefer recommendations from JS gurus: Anyone knows of an extension with which I could add a dating-like plugin/component to my JS site which has proven successful with JS? It should have about the same functionalities as the usual common dating sites like "..I am.." and "...I am looking for..." and "..search..." and the possiblity for individual member to post inbetween themselves out of view of... a Guest Gunnar, currently the support tickets are only available on email, and not listed anywhere on the site. To make it work this way, we will have to write a script using the HelpScout API, that will take a bit of time to make it happen. Till then, please save all tickets in a special folder on your inbox. 7 years ago

Which time zones are you working on? It would be good to know in order to know when to look for answers to posts. I looked at many places on your site and all I found was a small reference to Los Angeles.
