Michał And there are not only bug... though users call them "bugs". There are misconfigurations, admin fails and issues caused by interacting extensions (js script issues). 8 years ago

muelji but what am trying to say is this, how do i run and maintain my social networking site smoothly. what re the most important things to consider or to look out for, you know from taking care of any bugs that may surface, preventing the site from crashing and also maintaining sites security so as to prevent it from being hacked etc. i will really appreciate it if there is an ebook or a video... muelji thanks for the help, but what i am trying to say is that, when users try accessing the edit profile page, or edit details page etc at the front end, the site refreshes to the profile homepage, users cant access the edit profile page to input their details in the front end. 8 years ago

muelji although i ve changed lots of words on the site using my hosts code editor, to fit my sites purpose, probably the problem is occuring due to this changes. i am suspecting i might ve a bug issue with my site. please how do i fix this or rather how do i fix a bug issue on my site? Xristoph Conrad It's hard to diagnose without seeing the problem. Make sure you turn off SEF within Joomla and any 3rd party extension like SH404SEF, assign a default template to the menu item for Edit Profile and turn on or increase level of error reporting within Joomla. 8 years ago

But just make sure all your custom components are ready for the changes. If you have custom plugins and components. hello, please the notification message that users get after their friend request has been accepted is not displaying completely on the notification bar. for example if john accepts my friend request i get the phrase you re now freinds with. and thats where it stops the name of the friend does not show. here is an image that further explains the issue. please i want to install the tigra template on my jomsocial 4,x but i was told the template for 4.x is not available, i was told only the one for jomsocial 3.x is avail;able.please how can i downgrade from jomsocial 4.x to jomsocial 3.x?? Also if you could recommend another jomsocial template that is similar or better than the tigra template i ll appreciate. Thank you.

Saovry The problem with third software like Tigra and other software are very late up date with Jomsocial. Now Jomsocial is 4.0.6 but Tigra is still 3. And I know Tigra is great template. For me, I use Socialize, it always up to date with JOmsocial. I just share my ideas...I hope you will get Tigra to support Jomsocial 4 very soon. 9 years ago

pls the "register account" link is not showing on my frontpage, plus the the words on the frontpage "Come and join our community.Expand your network and get to know new people!" do nt display properly. only the word "Get connected" is seen.how can i fix this?
