Guys, we have an exciting tour coming up early next month and we want to meet you up! In conjunction with Joomla Day West, JomSocial team will be all over the US and this is your chance to meet with people behind JomSocial, the revolutionary open source community software.
Joomla Day West this year will be held in San Jose, CA, in the first week of October and JomSocial team is excited to be a part of it. If you are not a conference-type of a person, you will be glad to know that the 3-day event will feature three different formats which will keep you excited through out the event: Friday's Joomla Night, Saturday's Unconference and Sunday's Hackable Conference.
Azrul will be available through the event but if you have questions and suggestions on JomSocial 2.0, do catch up with him on Saturday's Unconference session.

It's me again. The developers are really, really busy coding and answering your queries in the forums, and behind the scenes, we take your comments seriously. We are working to smooth the process of providing support to all of you. Anyway, Azrul will be going to the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco on March 31 - April 3, 2009. There, we hope Azrul and Shawn will bring in new ideas for JomSocial. You may catch Azrul from March 29th, 2009 to April 3, 2009 in San Francisco. We will provide more details as the event approaches.

Over the last couple of weeks, copies of JomSocial has slowly reached the hands of our testers and has actually went live on several sites. Testing went very well and we have had a good feedback. We have been busy squashing bugs and polishing all the little details.
To kick-start the party, we are launching a short series of meetup where I will make a short presentation and answer your questions on JomSocial. You will be able to learn more about the internal workings and some hidden tricks of JomSocial.
For the developers, I would also take some time to show how to create simple application and how to use the API, and various libraries and functions provided by JomSocial.
