Hi guys, we just had our Joomla!Day Malaysia last month and we definitely had a lot of fun! We would like to spread the love of Joomla! more to all of you. As we love Joomla so much, we’d be happy to sponsor some tickets for Joomla Day specially for our JomSocial subscribers.

Joomla! Day Malaysia 2011, which has been held on 25th June 2011, was a great success. We have a great line up of speakers, a great venue (Petronas Twin Tower!), awesome sponsors and wonderful attendees.
As the organizer of this event, we would like to thank our Premium, Community and Media sponsors who have made this event a reality, the volunteers that help through the day, our marvelous speakers and other who directly or indirectly contribute to the success of this event.

I just came back from the US, where I attended Joomla! Day West 2010 in San Jose, California. It was awesome! All the familiar names in Joomla world were there. Sam, Andrew Eddie, Lois, Matt, Ryan, Wendy, Merav and many more. I know it has been over a week ago, but it doesn't make it less awesome!
More than anyone, I was so thrilled to meet some of our users. Hearing them telling me their stories on how they use JomSocial to power their social network and how it has transform their sites was such an inspiring experience, making us want to work even harder!. THANK YOU!!!

Guys, we have an exciting tour coming up early next month and we want to meet you up! In conjunction with Joomla Day West, JomSocial team will be all over the US and this is your chance to meet with people behind JomSocial, the revolutionary open source community software.
Joomla Day West this year will be held in San Jose, CA, in the first week of October and JomSocial team is excited to be a part of it. If you are not a conference-type of a person, you will be glad to know that the 3-day event will feature three different formats which will keep you excited through out the event: Friday's Joomla Night, Saturday's Unconference and Sunday's Hackable Conference.
Azrul will be available through the event but if you have questions and suggestions on JomSocial 2.0, do catch up with him on Saturday's Unconference session.

As many of you would already know, Joomla has a long and deep history with Australia in particular, going all the way back to the Mambo days. In fact, some of Joomla core developers and co-founders are from Australia.
