It's here! JomSocial 1.5 has been officially released!
 
There are many new improvements/enhancements/fixes to talk about, but here are just a few of the exciting new features you'll find in JomSocial 1.5:

1. Photo and video support for groups - Group members can now upload photos and videos to be shared among fellow group members

Sharing photos and videos are now possible!

hello every body......

i think some of u find this problem while using jomsocial....

Submenu onmouseover, it is overlapping the content of the page....
i.e., while seeing photos in myphotos, if we place the mouse over the submenu..... the submenu is coming under the photo.....

some one pls help.... post the solution............

I just upgraded my clients website from JomSocial 1.2 to 1.5...And I am impressed, though, I don't see the Friend Suggest tool in the Invite Friends section.

If this recently-completed (according to the JS UserVoice listings/requests) feature in part of this release, it *certainly* needs to be announced. I agree with "jay" that a full feature list is beneficial - please either edit this post or add it to the site docs.

looks pretty good, guys, but what I need is a full list of new features and changes, *especially* for the admin side of it. We've had to customize our 1.2 install and I want to make sure that 1.5 will be a benefit to install both for our site members and for the admins.

I'm not interested in reading the changelog, would you please post a comprehensive list of fixes and new features?
