Good news from the JomSocial team. Our primary support medium has moved to a new; more capable home!

With the imminent release of JomSocial 2.4 in the upcoming weeks, this step is taken as part of our continuous effort to improve our service to you, our beloved supporters and faithful followers of the JomSocial project, the best social networking platform for Joomla!

 

1027 days, or 2 years 9 months, 23 days.

That’s how long our dependable forum has been alive and kicking. Within it, there are 190406 posts, 34666 topics, contributed by a large section of our 76522 members. On daily basis, it has over 180-220 new posts and 30-40 new topics.

 

Realising that the wealth of information available in existing Forum is too important to be left out in our journey to reach the pinnacle, a social Utopia; the Official Support forum is now being made as an avenue for our users to have an open discussion on issues that are not within our official support scope. You may still find a plethora of interesting tips and tricks and fresh new plugins for JomSocial. New topics can still be created within non-official support categories, but remember; if you ever need our assistance, we are just a click away at support@jomsocial.com.

 

Amazing Customer require Amazing Support

While the forum has been adequate, it is not without some obvious drawbacks. For us, it is still a forum and as with any service provider, we need to gauge the quality of support that we have been delivering all this while. A forum is not capable of handling the sort of reports that we wish to see, analyse, and act upon.

Hence centralization of our support system.

The new home for support is being populated with updated knowledgebase articles as well as step-by-step instruction on troubleshooting JomSocial on your own. It will be easier for users to submit support requests and monitor them. How simple? Just drop us an email to support@jomsocial.com and interact with us using email for a pleasant, faster and secure troubleshooting exercise. 

 

So, whats going on from now?

All subcategories in 'Official Support scope' section are now locked. Users may no longer be able to create new thread, but you may reply existing thread. Within the next few days, the support team will attend and make sure that all threads in 'Official Support scope' section will be marked as Solved.
All issues that are within our support scope can now be rectified by emailing support@jomsocial.com
